Piku Print Club is coming soon to the App Store. Here are quick answers and step-by-step help for grown-ups.

Get to the Grown-ups area

On the camera, tap the avatar in the top left, then tap Switch player (or Back to the start). At the bottom of the first page, tap the Grown-ups only card (the one with a key on it) and answer the question. Most of the steps below start here.

Delete a print

A kid can tap the Prints button on the camera (it reads Strips in Booth and Videos in Video), tap the print, then press and hold the bin until the ring fills. An Undo button shows for a few seconds.

A grown-up can open the Grown-ups area, then Photos, then Photo Gallery. Tap Select, pick the prints and tap Delete. Or open a print and tap the bin. An Undo button shows for a few seconds, then the file is gone for good.

Delete a kid

Open the Grown-ups area. Under Kids, tap the kid, then tap the red Delete button with their name on it. You can also swipe the kid’s row.

Choose Save to Photos and Delete to keep their decorated prints and videos in Photos first, or Delete Without Saving. The plain real-photo copies are not saved: to keep one, open it in the Grown-ups photo gallery, tap Show real photo, then share it before you delete. There is no undo. If saving to Photos does not work, nothing is deleted.

Turn the camera back on

If a kid’s camera says “The camera is turned off”, a grown-up can tap Grown-ups on that screen and answer the question. Piku opens the Settings app. Allow the camera for Piku Print Club there, and check Screen Time if it is blocked. When you come back, the camera wakes up by itself.

Restore a purchase

Use the Apple ID that made the purchase, and connect to the internet. Open the Grown-ups area and tap Restore a purchase under Membership. It only shows until the Print Club has been joined or restored. You can also tap “Already joined? Restore” on the Print Club sheet.

Set the daily limit and video length

Open the Grown-ups area, then Camera rules.

  • Longest video: choose 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds or 1 minute. This is open to everyone.
  • Daily photo limit: free kids get 5 a day. Print Club members can choose No limit, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 50 a day.

Save or share a print

Open the Grown-ups area, then Photos, then Photo Gallery. Tap Select, choose the prints and tap Share. Pick Save Image, AirDrop or any other choice the share sheet offers. Piku only adds to Photos and never reads your library.

See a photo without its effects

In the Grown-ups photo gallery, open a photo and tap Show real photo. Tap Show effects to go back. This works for photos and booth strips, not videos.

Quick answers

My child used up today’s film. What now?

Free kids get 5 photos or videos a day, and fresh film comes tomorrow. Deleting a print gives a slot back. A shot binned before Keep never costs film. Print Club members can set a bigger daily limit, or none.

Can my child save or share a picture?

No. Only a grown-up can, in the Grown-ups area, after the grown-up check.

The grown-up check will not let me in.

Three wrong answers pause the check for 30 seconds. Wait, then try again with the new question.

Which devices does it work on?

iPhone and iPad, held upright. The App Store page will list the software version it needs.

Is the Print Club a subscription?

No. It is one payment, and you can restore it with the same Apple ID.
